Methods of payment including planned payment

We accept:

Credit or Debit Card (Visa / MasterCard / Maestro)

Cash to the driver (by prior arrangement)

Bank Transfer

Opie Oils offers several methods of payment but regretfully we do not accept cheques.

Monthly Payment Plan

We also offer our domestic heating oil customers a Planned Payment Facility (also known as a budget account or a monthly payment plan).

Once this is approved and in place it allows you to pay an agreed monthly amount by Direct Debit (on the 7th of each month) which spreads the cost annually.

The Planned Payment Facility is offered to customers that have made at least 3 recent purchases from Opie Oils. Alternatively, it can be set up in advance by paying in for a minimum of 3 months before making an order.

Opie Oils does not charge or pay interest on Planned Payment accounts.

The intention of the scheme is to build up credit in the summer to pay for the winter fuel purchases.
